These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile notary, apostille, and loan signing services provided by Drop It On The Dot Notary ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide mobile notarization, apostille coordination, and loan signing services in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County, Missouri. A notary public is a state-commissioned official who verifies the identity of signers and witnesses signatures. A notary public does not provide legal advice and cannot help you choose, draft, or complete a document.
2. Identification and signer requirements
Every signer must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID and must appear in person before the notary. Signers must be aware of and willing to sign the document. We reserve the right to refuse a notarization that does not meet Missouri legal requirements.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are described on our Fee Explanation page and confirmed before your appointment. First-time clients pay before services are rendered. The Missouri notarial fee is capped at $5 per signature; travel and specialized-service fees are additional and disclosed upfront.
4. Scheduling, cancellations, and no-shows
We make every effort to arrive at the agreed time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as early as possible. Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a fee, and a travel fee may be retained if the notary has already traveled to the location.
5. Refunds
If a notarization cannot lawfully be completed, you are not charged for the notarial act, subject to our Refund Policy.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for the content, validity, or legal sufficiency of any document.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
